The Leander Chamber of Commerce is excited for the 2022 Old Town 5K presented by Cedar Park Regional Medical Center, the annual kick-off to the Old Town Street Festival! Taking you through historic Old Town Leander, you can set your own pace. Whether you choose to burn up the course with blazing speed or stroll with friends, you will be sure to enjoy being the first ones through the lanes of vendors and activities.

All entrants will receive a commemorative shirt and finisher’s medal! This year’s shirt is sure to be popular, so be sure to sign up soon as this event usually sells out!

Are you part of the next hot band? Do you know who the next great musical artist is? The Old Town Street Festival is hosting an open call for supporting band/artist submissions for the 2022 Old Town Street Festival.

Reach a large audience and perform on the Old Town Grande Stand! The annual Old Town Street Festival attendance is over 20,000 people from all over Central Texas, and we need your submissions!

For your band to be considered, please:

Pay slots are from $150-$1,000 – no entries will be accepted without pay requirements
You must submit a recording of your band/performance

The deadline for submissions is September 15, 2021. Selection will not be determined until late September.

Best Year Yet at the Old Town Street Festival!

The 7th annual Old Town Street Festival presented by ACDI brought together over 25,000 people for family fun, shopping, entertainment and live music in a celebration of community and reconnection!

Chastidy Vernengo, Events Coordinator for the Leander Chamber of Commerce, said she loved “seeing our community back together again and having so much fun!”

Bridget Brandt, President of the Leander Chamber of Commerce, like many of us, has missed concerts and live events, and said she, “absolutely loved having the live music back…the bands we had were all amazing and it was so fun to dance again to live music!”

Tokens for the Kid’s Fun Zone rides and Petting Zoo can be purchased at the token booth near the Kid’s Fun Zone at the festival for $1 per token.

Token can also be redeemed for Face Painting, Petting Zoo admission, and Pony Rides.

Wristbands can be purchased for $35 and include UNLIMITED rides in the Kid’s Fun Zone, including the Kiddie Train. (Petting Zoo and Pony Rides are not included with the Wristband.)
